Regatta Website

Coming soon.

Here is last year’s:

  • The State Championship regatta includes 18 Racing Events at the Varsity and Jr. Varsity level. There are no races for the Novice category.
  • The regatta is held locally at Riverside Park in downtown Grand Rapids.
  • As of this email, there are 18 registered teams with a total of 173 entries.  You can view the competition on the Regatta Central website.
  • Coach communicates with the team to give them the Line Ups.  FHN Rowing has entered 12 teams (comprised of rowers from both our Novice and Varsity crews).
  • Here is a link to the Heat Sheets which give an approximate race time for each event.
  • All FHN Rowing team members are expected to come to the regatta.  Even if they are not rowing, this is a great time to observe the level of competition, cheer on teammates and provide general assistance & regatta support. Please have your athlete notify Head Coach ASAP if they are NOT able to attend.
  • We will have the usual FHN Rowing tent and food plan.
  • In addition to the usual regatta volunteer tasks, FHN Rowing has been asked to provide several volunteers to support the regatta committee.  As of this email, we are still short 2 volunteers in this category.  Please look at the SignUp Genius for the State Regatta event to see what is still needed and consider helping if you can.
  • Head Coach will communicate with the team about when they need to be at Riverside park.  She will also let them know the plan for loading/unloading boats.
And, last but not least … here is the current weekend weather forecast.
Go Huckies!!!  Row Huskies!!!

Can you help us at an upcoming event?

We love volunteers. Do we ever!
